Today in Yerevan, Minister of Environment of Armenia Hambardzum Matevosyan joined United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, UN Environment Programme Executive Director Inger Andersen, and Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity Astrid Schomaker for a joint press conference

During the press conference, we presented the global *State of Biodiversity Action* report, which takes stock of progress made so far and highlights where faster and more decisive action is needed.

Our expectation for COP17 is clear: Yerevan should be a place where we not only assess how far we have come, but also agree on how to move forward together, turning our commitments into concrete action.
